Prayer Ministries

Adventist Fellowship Prayer Ministries exists to equip our church to become a House of Prayer, releasing God’s power for revival and finishing the task of world evangelization. We believe lives can be transformed by tapping into the power of prayer. We invite you to claim His promise in Philippians 4:19, “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

Prayer is the Source of True Power

If you truly desire closeness to God, start praying constantly and consistently, daily meditate on His Word and believe that “what He promised, he is able to perform.” Romans 4:21.  Meditation on the promises of God and his faithfulness brings power, peace, hope and joy. Artificial mind games cannot truly satisfy or solve our problems. Resolving to make changes without God’s power is a futile effort. Mind over matter is not the solution and our efforts will be short lived. But when we say, “I can’t, God says, “I can”.  Prayer strengthens spiritual faculties. We must communicate often with God: That means listening AND talking. Talking is when I speak to God; listening is when God speaks to me.

Prayer Promises

There are at least 3573 Bible Promises from God in the Bible. Try using The ABCs of Prayer when claiming Bible Promises:

A- Ask, Matt. 7:7
B-Believe, Mark 11:24
C-Claim, John 11:41
- claim your answer by returning thanks that you have received it.

Is it that simple? Yes, the steps are simple, but to do it is something else. To kneel down before God and open His book to any one of the 3,573 promises, and place our hand on it and ask God, with the simplicity of a little child, to fulfill this promise in our behalf, and then believe He will do it, simply because He has promised, is not a complicated thing but God is eager to give us what we ask for.   “If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give to the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?” Luke 11:13
